Millennium centre
- Rob (14th May 2015 - 16:03:35)

So it takes the Herald to give us a better account of farce at the Millennium Hall!

Re: Millennium centre
- I (14th May 2015 - 17:09:10)

BORING, wasn't this topic done to death on the previous thread. You and some others clearly just have a personal interest/grudge in this matter that goes beyond general public information. What more can you possibly add that wasn't covered by the previous thread.

Re: Millennium centre
- Robbie (14th May 2015 - 18:49:09)

I agree , but it appears only to reflect badly on the ex Manager, who surely was primary custodian, and paid to safeguard the money. Pehaps the critiscms of the Auditor point to the former probationary Manager, who after all, was primarily the custodian and responsible for handling cash matters in the first instance, rather than Councillors. They were paying for someone to have managed the Hall properly after all. It is entirely normal to be able to look after the cash safely taken in at the Hall, if that is what you should be doing and part of the job surely?

Re: Millennium centre
- Keven (14th May 2015 - 19:13:57)

Because people care were are money is waisted, and you should as well!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Millennium centre
- Robbie (14th May 2015 - 21:38:01)

Your post makes no sense Keven, it appears to be nonsense, and you have lost crediblity. You are not doing yourself any favours. Keep your complaint for someone who understands your grievance.

Your grammar is interestingly junior school. Is your name spelt korrektlyl?

Re: Millennium centre
- Keven (15th May 2015 - 18:47:28)

Robbie if you want to talk about this face to face I will be more than happy to!!!!!

Re: Millennium centre
- Robbie (15th May 2015 - 22:21:33)

Keven, your misspelt rants are very confusing on here for readers they do not appear to make any sense. What are you trying to say? Unless you are the ex manager of the Hall, why would you care so much?

Re: Millennium centre
- Keven (18th May 2015 - 16:20:00)

As I said if you want to meet face to face yr see I'm not the exmanager, who is now councillor Gavin!!!!

Re: Millennium centre
- wendy martin (19th May 2015 - 10:26:07)

Isn't this thread getting absolutely rediculous? on the one hand someone is criticising spelling mistakes, and the reply is an offer to meet up, (obviously for fisticuffs) it's beginning to read like a very bad western script, Surely there are more interesting topics of conversation?

Call the grammar police!

Re: Millennium centre

Re: Millennium centre
- Ian (24th May 2015 - 15:06:10)

Steve - no

Re: Millennium centre
- Keith (24th May 2015 - 16:33:06)

Steve

For a building like the Millennium Centre, while there should be a readily available first aid kit (probably in the kitchen but could be elsewhere) but there is no requirement for a permanent first aider (although it is good practice for any employer to ensure that all of their staff receive some first aid training).

Normally for a building like that, if it was hired for let's say a theatrical performance, it would be the responsibility of the theatre group (i.e. the actors and supporting team) to provide first aiders relative to the size of the audience (first aiders for these events would tend to come from either St John's Ambulance or the Red Cross).

Re: Millennium centre
- stacey (24th May 2015 - 18:27:47)

I do not think it is legislation that it is obligatory, obviously it is good though to have trained people. Many village halls are not staffed, and open to the public at all times of the day and night without staff at all. So therefore not all buildings open to the public have trained first aiders, I am sure not all pubs do for instance.
