How to catch a mouse?
- Jay W (26th Apr 2015 - 10:41:02)
My cats have brought yet another "present" for us in the middle of the night which I assume to be a small mouse (it usually is and I haven't been able to move all of the furniture to find out).
Any tips on how to humanely remove? We usually catch in a towel if we hear the warning miaow and are awake enough but once it's let loose in the house it's harder to pinpoint.
Anyone know if the expensive plug in sonic sound thingies work? Can't think that they would unless poor mouse could actually find escape route back downstairs and out of house.
Cats of course now lost interest and are so useless at re catching mice indoors I wonder how they ever manage in first place!

You can buy a plastic mouse catcher - as the mouse enters it the door shuts and then you can let it go back in the wild again! Hope you catch it.

If you want some really great tips, I recommend Tom and Jerry, that cat never gave up.
