Dog found (rip) :-(
- Laura (25th Feb 2015 - 22:03:01)
Does anyone have the details of the owner who had lost a little brown/tan terrier a few months ago? I'm going to see if I can find it tomorrow but one has been spotted near the cats protection league. So sad.

The terrier lost inJune was Daisy and the phone numbers listed for her on doglost uk are 07766335393 or 01730231899. It's obviously not going to be a nice phone call to have to make, but I 'm sure the owners will be a bit relieved to have some closure if it is her. Poor little dog.

Hi, the dog you are describing is my nans dog Daisy. She was a lakeland/patterdale cross and we lost her last June. Do you have any more information? A specific location? As you say my nan would like to have some closure even if it is bad news.
Thanks

Hi,
There is a post about this dog on the Haslemere Rants Facebook page, there's more specific information on there and discussion by the people who found the dog, so you may be able to get in touch with them through that.
From what I read, it seemed like the cats protection league weren't involved in finding it so not sure if they would have any information. I think the dog warden was called but not sure what happened in the end.

*Also, a specific location was mentioned on the Facebook post, which was opposite the cats protection in a bush next to a stop sign, probably best to check the original post as I can't find it now and there was more specific detail.
It may be a bit distressing to read, the poor dog had been there long enough that it's body wasn't in a fit state to be moved, so may still be there.
Sorry if this was your dog :-( but as you said, I agree I would also need closure either way.
