iPad lost - reward offered
- Will (24th Nov 2014 - 20:02:16)

I have lost my iPad somewhere between Lynchborough Road, Passfield and the Co-Op on Headley Road. It was sitting on my bonnet, whilst I de-iced the car this evening, and then I drove off....!!

It is in a black neoprene case and has a silver keyboard attached to it. I would be very grateful if you have seen it if you could get in touch either via talkback or by calling INDIGO Concept on 01428 400 400. If you can get it back to me there's a reward in it for you!

Cheers in advance,

Will

If the iPad was just in stand-by mode (as opposed to completely turned off) AND you've enabled "find my iPad" then you could try and pinpoint it via iCloud using the built in GPS.

I would think if the ipad fell off a car bonnet at speed it will be damaged beyond repair and another car will have driven over it?

long shot - but I thought I saw something black and shiny in the middle of the road. just past Hill House Hill. just after the bend on your way home to Passfield. May be it?

Hi there ...

I think I have found your i Pad, just at the bottom of Hill House Hill .... It's in a rather sorry state, and I'm not sure if you will be able to salvage anything from it, but please give me a call so you can get it back. No need for a reward.

Thanks to everyone that replied with possible sightings and suggestions. It seems that it has been found (thanks Fiona) and could now more accurately be described as a piece of abstract art than a tablet :-)

The moral of this tale is to keep an eye on your belongings !

This is the sorry state of Will's ipad after being run over a few times.

Don't feel too bad Will, your I-Splat is now part of the collateral damage of modern life!

Other day whilst checking my car oil levels I got a phone call. My hands were a bit grubby, so I left the iPhone on top of the engine whilst I finished up. And I completely forgot, of course.

Tried to shut the bonnet but it seemed to be catching on something, so I tried again a bit harder, and again...and again!

Just put it down to a bad day!

Tony,

Too true...though I would have hoped that as a web designer (and previously IT support chap as well) I would have been a bit more careful.

Either way I now plan to hang it as a rather cool bit of wall art to remind me not to do it again!

Cheers,

Will
