LAMPS: A Christmas Carol - The Musical
- Susie (4th Nov 2014 - 10:09:15)
If you enjoyed the Thriller dance at the Carnival come and see our Christmas production at the Millennium Hall in December.
Liphook Amateur Productions presents a new take on Charles Dickens’ classic “A Christmas Carol”. This updated musical version sees miserly businesswoman and pay day lender, Eloisa Scrooge, being encouraged to change her skinflint ways by the ghost of her former business partner, Jacob Marley, and the three spirits: Christmas Past; Christmas Present; and Christmases Yet to Come.
Lamps’ “A Christmas Carol – The Musical”, sees a mixed age cast performing some classic Christmas carols, alongside more recent hits, combined with some spectacular dance routines.
It will be performed at the Liphook Millennium Hall on Friday 5th December at 19h30, Saturday 6th December at 14h30 and Sunday 7th December at 14h30.
To book your tickets to see this unmissable show visit:
www.thelittleboxoffice.com/lamps
Tickets will also be available from the Millennium Hall box office from Friday 7th November.
£8 for Adults, £6 for Children and concessions, £25 for 2 Adults and 2 Children. There is a 10% discount for groups of 10+.

Rehearsals are going well, haven't enjoyed myself so much for ages.
Tickets are selling well so if you'd like to come and see us you can buy tickets at the Millennium Hall or on line at www.thelittleboxoffice.com/lamps
This production of ‘A Christmas Carol’ is a collaboration of a script written a number of years ago by David Rowlandson and tweaked this year by Steve Baker.
Rob Miller has then taken a Baz Lurman style of directing clashing old with new to bring you this updated tale of a classic tale with many well-known songs and a little horror on the way. We hope you enjoy it.

Thank you to everyone who is coming to support us. We appreciate it and look forward to pleasure of making you laugh, sing and cry all in one evening. Rob, our Director, was moved to tears on Sunday!
If anyone can offer us a raffle prize I can come and collect it and we would be very grateful. All the money collected goes towards our group, offering adults, teens and children a weekly drama experience with a big show in the Spring and at Christmas. Renting space and buying equipment costs money and we try not to charge much for a years membership (currently £35 for an adult, £25 for a child).
If you come and watch and decide you'd like to join us, let one of us know on the night. There is no age limit, young or old!
