New owners of the Green Dragon - trevor mansfield (3rd Nov 2014 - 16:00:25) Hi everyone, my name is Trevor Mansfield, I will be taking over the Green Dragon, as of friday. There will be live music with the singing chef on friday night from 9pm till late, come along and introduce yourselves to me, Trevor, and Dave.

Football and all sports will be shown on sky. As well as live entertainment every Friday and Sunday night. Friday nights if you feel you can cut it, then get up and give us a song yourself!!!!

Re: New owners of the Green Dragon - Sam (4th Nov 2014 - 22:03:14) Maybe knock the prices down a bit! otherwise your not going to beat the Black hole that is the Hungry Horse 100 metres down the road that is swallowing all your business, and take the flowers (as nice as they are) away from the window so we can see in. If you get more than 7 people stood at the bar on any weekend evening you will beat a record that stood since early summer

Re: New owners of the Green Dragon - Steve (5th Nov 2014 - 19:57:59) Hi I wish you lots of luck with the pub, you do have to look at the beer prices I'm afraid When the repairs were done to the pub they over did it with the bright lights. Kind of to clinical, not oldie worldy like it used to be. Well I do wish you well, it's not going to be easy, but I have high hopes :-)

Re: New owners of the Green Dragon - trev and dave (16th Nov 2014 - 14:23:05) we would like thank everyone that has had faith in us, and a big thank you for all your support. yes will be doing food Monday to Friday afternoons from 12pm to 3pm until our new chef is ready to start, then evenings from 6pm till 9pm.

trev & dave of the Green Dragon - trev and dave (25th Nov 2014 - 09:46:23) Morning peeps, just a heads up on what's happening in the green dragon this week. Friday night we have a charity night for a young boy who is terminally ill, it will be his last christmas so we, as well as others, are going to be raising money to give him the best christmas ever, we have the fantastic Pete Lee on guitar/singing with soft rock starting at 9pm. Re: New owners of the Green Dragon - Dee (17th Dec 2014 - 16:07:58) Hi Was persuaded by hubby to call in the dragon last night to have a birthday drink with him. I will not be repeating the experience again. Sat in the lounge bar at a table with our first (and last drink), of the evening. They had music playing which very quickly got louder and louder, I did go to the bar and asked for it to be turned down as a friend had joined us and we were trying to talk. It was turned down and very quickly turned up even louder, so we drank up and left (I did inform the bar maid why we were going). In my personal opinion 9.30 on a Tuesday evening is not the time to have extremely loud music playing, so that you could not hold a conversation. Thanks but no thanks.

If you would like a very local top class covers band we are your boys! The dbeez!
