Local Dog Walker Required
- Sue (31st Oct 2014 - 09:06:09)
Looking for a competent Dog Walker for our 6mth Puppy from 15th November for one week, from a Location in Station Road.
He is a wonderful sociable male Cocker spaniel, who is under Puppy Training, so does have some good recall and lead behaviour. Must be able to walk twice a day for at least half and hour.
Alternatively, if you live further away, a possible lodge for the same period.

I too can highly recommend Emma Simmonds. She is very experienced in staying in peoples houses to look after all sorts of different pets. I know she is beginning to get really booked up with Christmas coming, but I would really suggest you give her a call.
She even takes care of animals that need medical attention.

I hope I've misunderstood, but are you suggesting to go away for a week and leave your 6 month cocker spaniel home alone with just an hour of human contact per day?
I hope not - dogs shouldn't be left alone for that long on a single day, let alone a week. Even the best behaved dogs can become destructive when left for long periods of time, and being left alone outside of their normal routine is very distressing for dogs.
Especially when this is a young cocker spaniel that needs a lot of exercise.
Not to mention that if the dog became injured or ill, no one would be there to know about it.
Please consider a live-in pet sitter who won't leave the dog for hours on end instead.

Dear 'S'
let me assure you that no puppy is being left alone. We just need assistance in extra 'walkies' during the day, due to work commitments.
