i would be careful most of the wheelie bin cleaning companies are run by dodgy people, giving fake police numbers and they use the time to check out your house and belongings for later burglaries.

if you put everything in bags, the bins don\'t get dirty

Erm, it's a dustbin! Doesn't that usually mean it'll no doubt get a bit grubby?! Isn't that what dustbins are for? I have never heard of anyone having a dustbin professionally cleaned! I'm clearly missing something.

Many thanks for your comments
Thank you fred, yes I think that is the one.
Jan, you are not missing anything. Yes it is a bin and yes it will get grubby but on top of household rubbish I have litter trays for 2 kittens and a cat, and soiled puppy pads for a puppy so you can imagine my bin is not only grubby but it has a very unpleasant smell so i would just like it freshened up and sanitised just like i clean my kitchen bin. Most people i know clean their bins. However I am very busy at weekends and I am choosing to pay for this cleaning service so I can spend my time on other things.

Hi Jo,
In the short term whilst you have kittens and a puppy it may be worth getting the wheelie bin liners that you can buy. I don't know if sainsburys sell them but you can get them on ebay.
