Scouts - Christmas Post |
2016 collection dates: 3rd December – 17th December
Liphook Scouts has been running a Christmas Card delivery service around Liphook, Bramshott, Conford and Passfield since 1989. Aside from providing a useful service for the local residents, the Liphook Scout Christmas Post raises much needed funds for the upkeep of the group’s HQ and helps fund equipment to allow the 200+ youth members involved in the group undertake exciting activities like canoeing, archery, climbing and camping.
In December 2015 the group delivered over 2,200 cards, raising over £600. The Scouts will once again be running its postal service this Christmas. Collection boxes will be available in shops from Saturday 3rd December to Saturday 17th December (last collection: noon).
You will find a post box located in Gables, Sainsburys, Co-op, Route 6, Countrywide, Hiscocks, The Passfield Store and The Deers Hut.
Simply drop your cards with payment (25p a card) into a box and the Scouts will stamp your cards for you and deliver them from Sunday 18th December. Alternatively, you can pre-purchase stamps from Gables.
The delivery area is Liphook, Bramshott, Conford, Passfield and – thanks to a collaboration with Fernhurst Scouts – now Fernhurst too.
