Toy Appeal

2011 is the most important year for Eagle Radio’s toy appeal. Never before has this Christmas been so important for donating toys to 96.4 Eagle Radio’s Toy Appeal.

Less fortunate children and teenagers are counting on you to donate a toy or whatever you can afford to the Appeal. At these times, it is more urgent than ever to bring joy to those children.

Eagle Radio, Surrey and Hampshire libraries and other locations will be acting as donation stations for anyone who wants to donate a new and unwrapped toy to the appeal.

The toys will be collected and distributed to charities in Surrey and Hampshire, who will be delivering them to teenagers and children in time for Christmas.

Eagle Radio`s Programme Controller and Breakfast Show Presenter, Peter Gordon says: “Once again we are asking our generous listeners to help us make a difference in Surrey and Hampshire – hopefully, somewhere, a child will smile for every toy donated. That’s a special thing to be able to do.”

Santa Fir Christmas Tree Farm and Shop is proud to be supporting this year’s Appeal and will be one of the drop off points at their store in-between Shamley Green and Cranleigh.

Eagle Radio’s Managing Director, Paul Marcus explains why the Toy Appeal is so needed at this time of year: “This is probably the most important year ever for the Eagle Radio Toy-appeal. There are many families across Surrey & Hampshire who will need our help during such difficult times – Hopefully once again, Eagle Radio listeners will be able to make a difference.”

If you are able to buy an extra toy this Christmas, please donate it to the Toy Appeal.

You can start donating your gifts from Monday 21st November to Saturday 17th December.

Our local drop off point is Liphook Library.
