 Bike Ride Warm Up
With just under two weeks until the annual LiDBA bike ride, some keen bikers got an early taste of the course last weekend.
Last Sunday a number of LiDBA members completed their own ride, in preparation for the full 25 mile event on June 8th. Last year riders raised in excess of £40,000 for more than 50 good causes.
"We need every rider to get as much sponsorship as possible, even if it is only a pound from family or friends, every bit helps", said LiDBA's Neil Macara.
There will also be the opportunity for riders to win something for themselves on the big day. Forest Mere have donated a spa day as an extra prize in the raffle.
Bright yellow posters advertising the race have gone up in local shops, post offices, pubs, clubs and newsagents. Riders can also apply online at www.lidba.co.uk.
The ride starts at 10am on Sunday, June 8 from Bohunt School.
